The title puts it in the gallery's birthday thread (the board crowns "Happy Birthday" the greatest song ever written and asks "When was I Born?"), so "21 CANDLES" reads as a birthday marker of a much younger, pre-Jagwar-Twin man. The code SNOW WHITE names the fairy tale of the magic mirror, "mirror, mirror on the wall," which is the Hall of Mirrors' own device: the glass you ask to show you who you are, here opening onto a birthday ghost of an earlier self. Snow White stays live in Roy's world on both ends, from the mirror archetype in "Lucius Lullaby" to his own later "When's the last time you watched Snow White tho?" post. And there is a third instance that settles what the code is *doing*, because in it Roy states the method out loud. The code WHAT DOES A MANAGER DO? is the punchline: the toddler in the manager's chair *is* the answer. The title is the toddler's own line: asked on camera what they are working on, the child answers, *"Roy's favorite things,"* so the room is named in the child's own voice. The room's loop-word, TIME, fits a home video of a small child, the fastest clock in the house. The ladder, a numbered and trimmed handwritten copy of the opening chapter of Aleister Crowley's *The Book of Lies* (1913), places *"Abyss (knowledge is relation)"* between 3 and 4 and ends *"10. The world"*. The concentric *Enlightened Being* counts the other way, from Self at the centre to body at the outside. Carrying a number from one figure to the other without checking direction will reverse it. The title has a real Thelemic/Crowley framework behind it: the City of the Pyramids is beyond the Abyss, and entry costs the aspirant's separate name and mastery, leaving dust in the city. A ladder rises from water labelled *"Sea of Mind"* into the open mouth, and a small figure stands at its top, at the lip. Three more pyramids rise at left, a village sits in the foreground, and two jaguar-beings flank the door, one carrying a solid disc and one a crescent. The caption is The Circle's refrain and the exact code of room #10, so the drawing gives another room's key a way in. Read beside the notebook's Noah page, it reverses the Ark: animals enter a human-shaped vessel sideways through the flood, while here a human rises from the Sea of Mind and enters an animal-shaped temple through its mouth. That inverse passage is a strong comparison, not proof that either drawing was designed to explain the other. The code `KEM` may invite Egypt or Kemet, but it does not establish its own etymology, and the old *al-khem-y* derivation is not reliable history. The four equations are visible here; the words *smell, sight, thought, hearing, taste,* and *touch* are not. Those labels come from the Complete Upload Recipe, where touch is explicitly the final 1/64 rather than the missing part. This crop is one region of the larger *How to Live Forever?* sheet and is a different Horus object from the gold board-cell used by *Pay Me!*. The familiar account says the fractional signs were pieces of the wounded Eye and that Thoth restored the remainder. Roy is clearly using that received story, but historian Jim Ritter traces the Eye-parts equation to a disputed modern Egyptological hypothesis rather than an uncontested ancient system. The code closely compresses Gareth Knight's wording about people anthropomorphizing even God. The rabbit is Roy's recurring initiatory self-image (the Sir Rabbit family: Roy-as-rabbit in the *Good Time* dream, the Sir Rabbit poem, [[Artifacts - Gallery 4 (113-149)#120 · FIBONACCI RABBITS|Fibonacci Rabbits]]), and *"the Gate of the World"* is the rabbit's own station: rung 10 of the animal ladder, the last stop of the count that descends from the source (swan 1, owl 2, on down), where emanation lands on Earth; in the tradition, "the Gate" is one of Malkuth's own titles. The drawing even performs the board's two-way arithmetic: the pointed-out *"Feet →"* are station 1 of the body count that climbs back up from the ground, so this one figure carries both ends of the ladder at once, 10 from above and 1 from below, the pair that makes eleven, standing on the Earth glyph at the gate where the descent turns into the return climb. Two more things on this page are load-bearing and read as throwaway. First the name: **Lemon** is one of only two pet names in a bestiary otherwise populated by archangels and planets, the other being [[Artifacts - Gallery 3 (75-112)#81 · Cinnamon the Horse (Trojan Horse Program)|Cinnamon the Horse]] at Mars, and those two seats carry the ladder's two clearest explicit transformations of the speaker — *"the child **became** a warrior"* at five, *"I **woke** up in my shadow"* here at ten. (Other rungs record events, rung four's *"I found everything"* among them; what these two alone state is a subject changed into something.) Second the weapon: an **acorn grenade**. An acorn is a seed, a thing children fill their pockets with, the object an entire tree comes out of, and Roy labels it as ordnance. A sweet name on an armed body, twice, at the two rungs where the cosmology touches a life someone actually lives. It is Cinnamon's pairing again (the armed horse whose room is titled a Trojan Horse program), run at the Gate of the World. And the grenade has a striking counterpart in the songs: *Good Time (1:08)* — the song **where Roy is the rabbit**, born from the dream in which Sir Lucius first appears — sings *"Youth is not a fountain, **it's a hand grenade in hiding**."* The drawing is that line performed: youth's own object, an acorn, with the grenade hidden inside it, held by the maze's rabbit — and filed by the maze itself under **Unseen Things**, a grenade in hiding on the shelf of hidden things. The room was already in the maze by **August 2022**, more than a year before *Good Time* released in **September 2023**. A faint handwritten date on the print reads *'94 6 2*, which, read as June 2, 1994, would put him days past his sixth birthday, the guessed age pinned down by the object itself. Roy glossed the code himself: *"He's building a bridge… we love a pun."* So the child carpentry is also the songwriter's *bridge,* and also the ARG's own connective labor, since this artifact's own title, **F316**, is the key to the *Venus is a Dove* room. The photo is a working link in the very maze it shows him learning to build. The extra eyes make her the all-seeing but never-surveilling Mother, the watching-source figure this guide tracks elsewhere. It is a rare thing, an artist captioning his own cosmology: the Mother lives on Saturn over the Great Sea, and the room's title names her Binah. The drawing names Binah directly, giving this guide’s reading of Mary as the Supernal Mother a visual counterpart. The code obeys the same two-way count as the rest of the bestiary: the whale is rung 3 in the animal ladder descending from the source, the teeth sit in the head at station 8 of the body ladder climbing from the feet, and 3 and 8 make eleven, one station named from both ends.
