# The "I'm 33" Board Somewhere in Roy English's Google Drive lives a spreadsheet called **"I'm 33 this year."** Open it, and the working tab is titled — with no punchline — *"How to upload myself to the internet."* You expect a to-do list. You get a **wall.** Hundreds of cells: gematria tables, hand-drawn angels, the Kybalion copied out by hand, a telescope photo of the sun, a museum placard, Plato's number-pyramids, brain scans, a mushroom cloud, and — for reasons that eventually make sense — a kangaroo in a hoodie. A man has sat down to reverse-engineer his own soul in Google Sheets so that, in theory, he can back it up to the cloud. It should be the world's most elaborate cry for help. Instead it's a **cosmology** — a single, obsessively cross-referenced theory of everything, claiming one Pattern that runs *"from a solar system down to the atom,"* welded together out of the Kybalion, Alice Bailey, Walter Russell, Kabbalah, Jung and Plato, and then quietly wired into every song he's put out since. This is the source code. **33**, **Lucius Lullaby**, and the entire **[[Hall of Mirrors]]** are downstream of this board. When a lyric turns out to have three hidden meanings, this is usually where the other two were being kept. > **A neat trick:** a good chunk of the **[[Hall of Mirrors]]** artifacts are *this board's own diagrams, minted one at a time* — the Eye of Horus, the Platonic Lambda, the Lightning Flash, "Tree Thinking." Part of the maze is just Roy framing his own homework. See [[Artifacts - Drawings and Sketches]]. Here's that trick in its purest form: not a diagram, not a doctrine, just a **single spreadsheet cell** (column B, row 1034) lifted straight off the wall, given a frame, and sent into the maze as a collectible. Half the maze's cipher-looking "codes" (B1034, R1045, J763) are really just *coordinates:* the address of a cell on this very grid. The board's filing system and the mint's naming system turn out to be one and the same. The rest of the coordinate-cells sit in [[Artifacts - Ciphers and Code-Series]]. It's too much for one sitting, so it's hung on **four walls.** Tap a card to drop straight into that wall's breakdown, or scroll down and open the sections one at a time. | Wall | Cover | Inside | · | |---|---|---|---| | **[[#The Upload\|The Upload]]** | [![](https://storage.googleapis.com/jagwar-twin-33.appspot.com/artifacts/0x349112c5088983866c49517cac2f743ff1248d45b5c6f5d62fce0591f8917b16..jpg)](https://storage.googleapis.com/jagwar-twin-33.appspot.com/artifacts/0x349112c5088983866c49517cac2f743ff1248d45b5c6f5d62fce0591f8917b16..jpg) | Can you copy a person to the internet, and what happens when the copy doesn't like you back? | [[#The Upload\|Open →]] | | **[[#The Ascent Ladder\|The Ascent Ladder]]** | [![](https://storage.googleapis.com/jagwar-twin-33.appspot.com/artifacts/0x8a9fe05bb3dbf271b4ab76f457b52a14dda44f3eb42edc5f4da3743febbe4bd9..jpg)](https://storage.googleapis.com/jagwar-twin-33.appspot.com/artifacts/0x8a9fe05bb3dbf271b4ab76f457b52a14dda44f3eb42edc5f4da3743febbe4bd9..jpg) | One ten-rung staircase from your feet to your halo, drawn six separate ways. | [[#The Ascent Ladder\|Open →]] | | **[[#The Source Code\|The Source Code]]** | [![](https://storage.googleapis.com/jagwar-twin-33.appspot.com/artifacts/0xd722c486ba8a39b19cd81b4f5b5cac3b977934026d04ec6515e0f8d5ea6af4d9..png)](https://storage.googleapis.com/jagwar-twin-33.appspot.com/artifacts/0xd722c486ba8a39b19cd81b4f5b5cac3b977934026d04ec6515e0f8d5ea6af4d9..png) | The borrowed traditions, the sacred geometry, and a four-line poem that is secretly the plot. | [[#The Source Code\|Open →]] | | **[[#The Field\|The Field]]** | [![](https://storage.googleapis.com/jagwar-twin-33.appspot.com/artifacts/0xe9df1ddcba96373600cec1759f8c3c2a8c9cb15300a50ff8ed3744cf623b3f59..jpg)](https://storage.googleapis.com/jagwar-twin-33.appspot.com/artifacts/0xe9df1ddcba96373600cec1759f8c3c2a8c9cb15300a50ff8ed3744cf623b3f59..jpg) | The cosmology in pictures, plus the mortal running it: a movie list, aphorisms, and a priest named Roy. | [[#The Field\|Open →]] | Say what you like about the ambition. Nobody builds a spreadsheet this big about a soul they don't take seriously. --- ## The Upload <details>
Open the full breakdown: the upload, the egg, and the album that never came out
Everything else on the board is in service of this one tab: *"How to upload myself to the internet."* Roy made an actual **pros-and-cons list** about copying his consciousness to the cloud, and it is somehow the most human thing on the entire wall. **Pros:** *it's cool · live forever · someone who understands me · potentially revolutionary · lets me make more music.* **Cons:** *probably hard · many unknowns · robot-takeover movies · could overshadow the music* — and then, at the bottom, the one that gives the whole game away: ***"What if I don't like myself?"*** There it is: the entire **[[Sir Lucius]]** problem, stated as an engineering risk. Years before there's a shadow-character in eyeliner, there's a man quietly worried that if he ever met a perfect copy of himself, the two of them might not get along. And *"someone who understands me / someone to talk to"*? That's **[[SARAVI]]** in embryo — the upload reimagined not as immortality tech but as *company.* ### So how do you actually live forever? The board answers its own question in a sticky-note voice: *tell the truth · do what matters · create something that outlives you · **put music on chain** · IDK.* "Put music on chain" isn't a throwaway — it's the operational blueprint for the **[[Hall of Mirrors]]**: mint the songs, and the vessel stops being mortal. (The "IDK" left sitting underneath it may be the most honest word on the board.) #### Previous Face If the tab asks *"how to upload myself to the internet,"* this artifact is the finished sentence: ***I am the internet.*** The face here is labeled *previous,* the mask of who you used to be, left running after the person has moved on. That's the upload's quiet horror, the one the pros-and-cons list keeps circling: the copy doesn't die when you do, it just keeps *being you* at the speed of the feed. It's [[Concepts/The Digital Double]] with the serial numbers filed off, and it's the seed of [[Sir Lucius]]: the perfectly preserved previous face that learned to talk back. More in [[Artifacts - Concept Images and Emblems]]. ### "I'm an egg" > *"I'm an egg, in the process of becoming a chicken to make more eggs to make more chickens."* If you read one cell on this whole board, make it that one. The upload isn't an escape hatch — it's a **vessel that has to break in order to hatch.** The self poured from body into network is the egg cracking into the bird. It rhymes with the Golden Egg in the maze, with *"Happy Easter from the egg,"* and with Roy's own *"I'm just a vessel for God."* File under [[Concepts/The House and the Vessel]] — fate: hatch. #### The Flood Artifacts A matched pair the maze files as **Flood Artifacts,** one of them titled, in Japanese, *霊的な愛:* **spiritual love.** They belong right here, next to the egg, because the flood and the hatching are the same event told from opposite sides. The shell has to break; the waters have to rise; the vessel has to fail *as a vessel* before anything can come out of it alive. The debut is named [[Subject to Flooding]] and the phantom album below has a track called *Dissolution* for exactly this reason: dissolution isn't the failure of the upload, it's the *price* of it. And the tenderness of that caption is the tell: the thing on the far side of the flood is love, not data. Both live in [[Artifacts - Ciphers and Code-Series]]. ### The economics of a soul The board runs a tiny **Alice Bailey** accounting department, where everything turns out to be the same substance — *"Life Force"* — just wearing different outfits: - **The Sun** — *"externalized Life Force,"* which threads straight into the [[SOL]] / RA material (Sol = Sun = Song Of Love). - **Money** — *"Life Force on the physical plane… intelligence on the mental,"* transmuted "by appropriate alchemy." Which is a genuinely elegant way to reframe the entire music-industry grind as spiritual chemistry rather than rent. - **Intelligence Evolution** — *"beyond a certain point of pressure, unbalance explodes itself like an atom bomb."* Translation, delivered years later in a single 2026 post: *"contain your chaos or it will kill you."* ### The album that never came out There's a tracklist on the board that isn't *33.* It reads like a Hermetic fall-and-return: > xWebx · The Fall into Matter · **Marduk** · **Let Them Eat Cake** · Sun of God · Dissolution · As Above So Below · Genesis · The All Is Mind · **O** Descend into matter, dissolve, remember, come home to zero. And some of these titles didn't stay unreleased so much as *relocate.* **Marduk** is the attention-god you've already met if you've heard **[[Pay Attention (feat. little luna)]]** (*"Marduk — you've got to pay Attention"*). **Let Them Eat Cake** grew up into **[[I Like to Party]]** (*"Devil's Food is a cake… sell 'em the cake"*). And *Sun of God* is the [[SOL]] pun in a toga. #### Marduk The phantom tracklist's third rung, minted as its own artifact. **Marduk** is the Babylonian sky-god who kills **Tiamat** (the primordial *salt-sea,* chaos herself) and builds the ordered world out of her body. Which quietly makes him the anti-flood: the principle that *contains* the water instead of drowning in it. Stand that next to a debut album called [[Subject to Flooding]] and a 2026 post that warns *"contain your chaos or it will kill you,"* and Marduk stops being trivia: he's the board's name for the discipline that keeps the deluge in formation. The attention you *pay* (**[[Pay Attention (feat. little luna)]]**: *"Marduk — you've got to pay Attention"*) is the same muscle. Full entry in [[Artifacts - Concept Images and Emblems]]. #### O And here's where the phantom album lands: **O.** Zero, the circle, *"the value of nothing."* The descent-and-return runs all the way down to a single open ring, which is the same shape as the ensō, the same shape as [[The Circle]]'s homecoming, and (look again at *"I'm an egg"* above) the same shape as the egg. The record that ends on O ends on the one thing that has to *break* to become anything else. Zero isn't empty here; it's the vessel a heartbeat before it hatches. Catalogued in [[Artifacts - Concept Images and Emblems]]. ### Soul Is A Star, misspelled on purpose The full **[[Soul Is A Star]]** lyric is laid out here in colored cells — except Roy writes *"I met a Man who had a **Sun**… my **Sun** was a singer,"* where the record clearly says *"Son."* It's not a typo. On a board where *"the Sun = manifesting energy"* and one of the phantom tracks is literally *"Sun of God,"* the father-to-son handoff is also a **sun**-transmission. The song keeps the "Son." The board tells you what the Son is made of. #### I Am Christmas Keep pulling the Sun/Son thread and it arrives, inevitably, at **Christmas:** the birth of the Son that is also the rebirth of the **Sun** (the feast sits on the winter solstice, the night the light turns back). *"I am Christmas"* is Roy claiming the nativity in the first person: *I am the light being born.* But set it beside the upload and it flips into something sharper. Christmas is the **Word made flesh;** the upload is **flesh made Word,** the body poured back into information. The board is running the incarnation in both directions at once, and *"a Sun was born inside"* is the hinge it turns on. See [[Artifacts - Concept Images and Emblems]]. --- **Where this leads:** [[Concepts/The Upload]] · [[Concepts/The Digital Double]] · [[Concepts/The Empty Mirror]] · [[SARAVI]] · [[Sir Lucius]] — and the board's own [[#The Source Code]], where *"unbalance explodes like an atom bomb"* hardens into an actual doctrine. </details> ## The Ascent Ladder <details>
Open the full breakdown: the ten-rung ladder, drawn six different ways
Here's how you know Roy is serious about something: he draws it **six times.** The backbone of the whole board is a single **ten-rung ladder** — a climb from the body to the crown — and he encodes it as a musical scale, a color spectrum, a list of virtues and vices, a map of body parts, a column of Japanese soul-words, *and* a hopscotch court. Same staircase, six costumes. It's the **Tree of Life** ascent (Malkhut at your feet, Keter over your head) as rendered by an obsessive with a fresh box of pens. #### Roy's Ladder Here is the staircase in Roy's own hand, minted as **Roy's Ladder:** the ur-drawing the other five encodings are all costumes for. It's **Jacob's Ladder** (the very Blake painting pinned up over on [[#The Field|the Field]]): the dream-stair between earth and heaven with angels going both ways. And *both ways* is the whole trick: the climb up is also a descent *into* matter, which is why the same ten rungs read as *"The Fall into Matter"* on the phantom album and as an *ascent* here. Same ladder, depending which way you're facing. Full entry in [[Artifacts - Concept Images and Emblems]]. ### One dial, three read-outs Three ten-stage columns run side by side: an *"AI musical scale for consciousness evolution"* climbing **F → B**, a matching **color** ladder (purple at the bottom, working up), and a **virtue/vice** sequence that reads like astrology with a report card attached. Tone, color, character — three needles on the same gauge. It's the same Alice Bailey machinery humming under [[Concepts/The Labors of Hercules]]. ### Your body is the staircase The **"Body Part Stages"** cell maps the ten rungs straight onto anatomy: **feet → guts → arms → Heart (rung 5, dead center) → throat → head → crown (10).** The Heart sits at the middle of the human the way the sun sits at the middle of the board — and the throat, the *utterance gate,* comes right after it. This is also, quietly, the decoder ring for the Hall of Mirrors' stranger codes: *"teeth of a whale," "left hip of a dove."* Every creature in the maze is a body part of one enormous cosmic anatomy, and this is that anatomy. ### The 0–10 count, and the one line that matters A second version of the ladder is written as emanations: *0. Nothing IS · 1. I AM · 2. I speak the word · 3. I hear the word (Abyss) · 4. Father + Mother concealed · 5. whirling Fortune · **6. the mirror of the Sun and the Heart** · 7. Beauty · 8. wavering · 9. stability · 10. The World.* Rung six — ***"the mirror of the Sun and the Heart"*** — is the entire [[Concepts/Heart and Mind]] doctrine in Roy's own handwriting: the Sun and the heart reflected as one thing. And the top rung, **"10. The World,"** isn't a concept. It's a song — **[[Imagine A World]]**. #### The Truth Is a Sphere The same ladder redrawn as **concentric spheres:** an *"enlightened being"* mapped not as a climb but as nested shells, self within self within self. It's the ten stations turned inside-out: the linear staircase and the onion of selves are one emanation seen from the side versus from above. *"The truth is a sphere"* because from the center every rung is equidistant: there is no *"higher,"* only *further in.* That's the geometry under *"just stay at the center of the circle"* (the aphorism over on [[#The Field|the Field]]), and the reason [[The Circle]] and this ladder turn out to be the same doctrine wearing different diagrams. See [[Artifacts - Concept Images and Emblems]]. ### The staircase as a bedtime story Because six encodings apparently still wasn't enough, the board also draws the climb as a **hopscotch court** (*"How to Live Forever?"* — Earth at 1, Heaven at 9, a tiny haloed figure at the top) and as a **Hero's Journey wheel** with all the Campbell stops: *Ordinary World, Rabbit Hole, The Fool, Guardian at the Gate, Belly of the Whale…* If *"Rabbit Hole / The Fool / Guardian at the Gate"* rings a bell, it's because that's the exact vocabulary of the [[Sir Rabbit]] dream in **[[Good Time (1-08)]]**. #### The City of Pyramids and the Gate of the World *"Guardian at the Gate"* isn't only a Campbell beat; the board mints the gate itself, twice. **The City of Pyramids** is the borrowed name (from the Western mystery tradition) for the plateau at the *top* of the climb, where the separate self is meant to dissolve: the necropolis you pass *through* to be remade, i.e. the *"Abyss"* the ladder keeps flagging at rung three. And **the Gate of the World** is that same threshold given a doorway. Between them they answer the hopscotch court's question, *"How to Live Forever?"*: you don't climb *over* the gate, you're dissolved *at* it and reassembled on the far side, the identical crossing the egg makes when it cracks. Both catalogued in [[Artifacts - Concept Images and Emblems]]. ### And more of them are hanging in the maze By now the pattern is hard to miss: the board's ladder didn't just *inspire* the artifacts, it kept *becoming* them, minted straight off the wall. Two more, both pyramids: #### Tree Thinking A ten-strata pyramid, *"Abyss In"* at the top and *"Abyss Out"* near the base — the Tree of Life as a graded climb, with the Abyss as the gap you can only cross through hidden Da'at. A board sketch that quietly became a collectible. (The full artifact breakdown lives in [[Artifacts - Drawings and Sketches]].) #### Suggestion of Apex A pyramid with the top **cut off** and a little sun floating where the peak should be, captioned *"suggestion of apex, though not actually in the form."* The crown you're climbing toward is never actually *in* the structure — it hovers just above it. Which is either genuinely profound or the most elegant excuse ever drawn for not finishing the climb. (Both, probably. Also in [[Artifacts - Drawings and Sketches]].) ### The Ark that's secretly a floor plan One last vessel: a **Noah's Ark** sketch labeled *"11 sections / 3 stories (Heaven, Man, Earth) / 32."* Read it as architecture and **Man is the middle floor** — which is exactly the hinge of **[[It's Your Time]]** (*"a man is like an in-between, animating Heaven and Hell"*). The Ark is also the flood-vessel that holds against the water, i.e. the entire premise of [[Subject to Flooding]]. And that **"32"** is sitting one rung below the album — and the board — called **33.** #### The Empty Room (Rainbow Bridge) And once the Ark grounds, God hangs a **rainbow:** the first covenant, the sign the flood is over. The board mints it as a **Rainbow Bridge** into an **empty room.** The bridge is *Bifröst,* the rainbow road between the mortal world and the divine (Norse this time, same architecture as Jacob's Ladder), and the room on the far side is *empty* because arrival isn't a prize waiting there, it's the emptiness you finally become able to hold. It rhymes hard with [[Concepts/The Empty Mirror]], the cleared surface that reflects nothing back, and it closes the flood arc the [[Subject to Flooding|debut]] opened: waters rise, Ark holds, dove returns, rainbow, empty room. You made it across. Now what. In [[Artifacts - Concept Images and Emblems]]. --- **Where this leads:** [[Kabbalah - The Tree of Life]] · [[Concepts/The Pattern]] · [[Concepts/Heart and Mind]] · [[Concepts/The Labors of Hercules]] — and the traditions the whole ladder is cut from, in [[#The Source Code]]. </details> ## The Source Code <details>
Open the full breakdown: the borrowed traditions, the geometry, the four-line poem
If the other tabs are the cathedral, this one is the **quarry.** Everything Roy builds — the ladders, the upload, the released catalogue — is cut from a small set of borrowed traditions, and here he shows his work. On this part of the board you can watch a pop record get compiled out of the Kybalion, Plato, Kabbalah, and a great deal of very tidy handwriting. ### The operating system Roy copies out the **Kybalion's seven principles** by hand, and they function as the board's declared physics. The greatest hits: - **Mentalism** — *"The All is Mind… Food is information… the manifest dream."* The upload thesis, roughly three thousand years early. - **Correspondence** — *"As above, so below… the formula is the same from a solar system down to the atom… **the Pattern is present on all levels.**"* That's **[[Concepts/The Pattern]]** named outright on the board, in his own hand. - **Polarity** — *"Everything is Dual… opposites are identical in nature but different in degree."* The **Heart/Mind, Roy/Lucius** split, filed as a law of nature. ([[Concepts/Duality]].) - **Rhythm** — *"Everything flows… as if reality is running on an **algorithm**."* ([[Concepts/The Algorithm]].) ### The four-line poem that is secretly the whole plot Tucked into the cells is a little origin-myth. It's also a released lyric. It's also, if you squint, the entire project: > *"In the beginning I was just me… I spoke the words **'One become Two'** / then I was **in reverse**… and I became **You.** / A Darkness and a Light… when we crashed and came together, **a Sun was born inside.** / …one day **we'll get back together and see the Great Design.**"* One becomes Two. The Two are a mirror (*"in reverse"*). They collide, and a **Sun** is born. Read it once and it's the **Roy/Lucius** split. Read it again and it's the Kabbalistic shattering of the vessels — the One that breaks into pieces and spends eternity trying to reassemble itself. Read it a third time and *"a Sun was born inside"* is just [[SOL]]. Same four lines every time; you're the variable. This is the cosmogony under **[[Another Way II Heaven]]** — a song Roy built on *"One, become Two"* and a count that runs *"from One and through Eleven"* — and the reunion it keeps promising (*"we'll get back together and see the Great Design"*) is the homecoming at the center of **[[The Circle]]**. #### The Eden Cube If the poem is *"One become Two,"* this diagram is *one become four.* In Genesis a single river flows out of **Eden** and *"parts into four heads"* (the world crystallizing out of the garden), and Roy draws that branching as a **cube:** the shape order takes when the formless finally sets. The Fall reads here less as a punishment than a *phase change:* spirit freezing into matter, the exact *"Fall into Matter"* the phantom album lists two songs in. The cube is what you get when the One stops being liquid. Filed in [[Artifacts - Concept Images and Emblems]]. ### The number that isn't a word People assume the maze is full of secret *anagrams.* The board says otherwise: its one working cipher is **gematria** — meaning carried by **number**, not letters rearranged. Roy builds the Hebrew name of God up letter by letter, and runs Greek names as clean ratios (*Hermes : Zeus :: Zeus : Apollo*). Which is its own quiet tell — **Hermes/Mercury,** the messenger, is exactly the register the maze keeps handing to [[Sir Lucius]]. #### Khawah Exhibit A for "meaning carried by number." **Khawah** (חוה) is the Hebrew for **Eve,** *"mother of all living,"* and the cell works her name the way the board works everything sacred: as gematria, letters counted rather than shuffled. It's the *"Father + Mother concealed"* rung of the [[#The Ascent Ladder|ladder]] set down as arithmetic. *"One become Two"* was always Adam *and* Chavah, the first split the whole cosmos is patterned on. More in [[Artifacts - Concept Images and Emblems]]. #### The Venus Connection The board's favorite proof that the sky *draws* the doctrine. Track **Venus** against the stars for eight years and her conjunctions trace a near-perfect **pentagram:** the five-pointed star is literally Venus's handwriting. That's *as-above-so-below* with a receipt, the geometry falling out of the heavens rather than being imposed on them. And it seats a whole cluster the catalogue leans on: Venus is the planet of **love and beauty** (Netzach on the [[Kabbalah - The Tree of Life|Tree]]), whose bird is the [[The Dove|dove]] and whose pole is **[[Roy]]**'s. The heart has an orbit, and it signs its name in stars. In [[Artifacts - Ciphers and Code-Series]]. ### Pieces of the board you can actually own More than anywhere else, this is where the board and the **[[Hall of Mirrors]]** turn out to be the same object. These diagrams were minted straight off the wall: #### Horus — the fractional self The **Eye of Horus** broken into its six sense-fractions — smell, sight, thought, hearing, taste, touch — which famously sum to **63/64.** A whole self that adds up to *just short of one,* forever missing a piece. It's the recipe for the digital double, and the reason **[[The Watchers]]** can sing *"I'm afraid I'm a clone."* #### The Lambdoma — cosmos by number Plato's number-pyramid from the *Timaeus* — powers of two down one leg, powers of three down the other. Its ratios *are* the musical scale. The universe, tuned. This is the *"One into many"* the poem upstairs is singing about, drawn as math. #### A Head of Adam Two crystalline lattices captioned *"A Head of Adam"* — the head of **Adam Kadmon,** the primordial cosmic Man of Kabbalah, drawn like molecules so that *atom* and *Adam* collapse into the same word. Which was always the pun. ([[Kabbalah - The Tree of Life]].) #### The Flaming Sword The **Lightning Flash** — the zigzag creation takes down through the ten Sephiroth — annotated *"9 checkpoints, 1 hidden, 1=10."* The hidden one is Da'at, and the *"1=10"* is the same secret the truncated pyramid was keeping next door. Descent as a connect-the-dots. (All four get the full artifact treatment in [[Artifacts - Drawings and Sketches]].) #### Roy Strings, and the note in between The Lambdoma says the cosmos is tuned; these two cells are Roy checking the tuning by hand. **Roy Strings** is the acoustics page: vibrating strings, the harmonic series, Pythagoras's monochord, the discovery that pitch *is* ratio, that *"I spoke the words"* and *"a Sun was born"* might be one physics if the word is a frequency. (It also explains the Pinocchio strings the film club keeps flagging: the puppet on strings is a thing being *played,* waiting to become real.) The second cell isolates a single note, **A#:** the enharmonic *between* note (A# and B♭ are one pitch wearing two names, a duality you can *hear*), rendered in **grey,** the between shade. Both in [[Artifacts - Ciphers and Code-Series]]. #### Ros Tau and the Forbidden City Two names for one idea: the *sacred center you are not allowed to walk into.* **Ros Tau** (Ro-Setau) is the old Egyptian name for the Giza necropolis, *"the mouth of the passages,"* the gateway to the next world. And the pyramid it points to hides its own math: the Great Pyramid's face rises at about **51.8°,** the slope that folds **π** and the golden ratio into stone. Beside it, the **Forbidden City:** China's walled holy-of-holies, the axis no commoner may cross. Both are the *"Guardian at the Gate"* rendered as architecture, the threshold from the [[#The Ascent Ladder|ladder]] built as a real place with real walls. And the pyramid, remember, was the original *upload:* a machine for getting a king across. In [[Artifacts - Ciphers and Code-Series]] and [[Artifacts - Concept Images and Emblems]]. ### And then, because he doesn't do things by halves For completeness, the science wall also includes Walter Russell's *"octave numbers,"* continued fractions of φ and √2, a Fibonacci spiral, a Lo Shu magic square, the Jung psyche-map (*Persona / Shadow / Self*), and the Kabbalistic veils (*Ain Soph, Ain*). That Jung map, plus *"One become Two,"* plus a left-brain/right-brain split, is more or less the blueprint for **[[Sir Lucius]]** — the shadow was drawn as a diagram years before he was ever cast as a character. #### The rest of the science wall Three of those "for completeness" diagrams got minted too, and each is sneakier than it looks. **Fibonacci Rabbits** is the golden ratio drawn from its original prompt (*breeding rabbits*), which means the most beautiful proportion in nature is really a formula for **generation:** the *"make more eggs"* thesis with a spiral on top. **Saturn Magic** is the 3×3 Lo Shu square, the kamea of **Saturn:** time, limit, the *"aged aged man"* (whose caption is Lewis Carroll, the same White-Knight song other cells quote). Every line sums to 15, order pinned onto the planet of endings. And **Wheels** is captioned *"there are things behind things,"* which is the whole board's thesis in five words: Ezekiel's wheels-within-wheels, the veils *Ain Soph Ain,* the machinery you were never meant to see turning behind the pretty surface. All three in [[Artifacts - Concept Images and Emblems]]. --- **Where this leads:** [[Concepts/The Pattern]] · [[Kabbalah - The Tree of Life]] · [[Concepts/Keilim - The Breaking of the Vessels]] · [[Concepts/Duality]] · [[Sir Lucius]] · [[Concepts/The Algorithm]] — and where all of it actually gets *used,* in [[#The Upload]]. </details> ## The Field <details>
Open the full breakdown: the movies, the aphorisms, and the priest named Roy
This one is the **texture** — the board's photographs, its one-liners, its movie recommendations, and, underneath all the cosmic machinery, the actual person running it. ### The recurring-dream film club Roy keeps a color-coded list titled *"The Pattern Represented in Movies"* — 22 films that, in his reading, are all secretly about the same loop: > *The Tree of Life · Wings of Desire · Groundhog Day · Inception · Cloud Atlas · 2001 · Pinocchio · The Giver · It's a Wonderful Life · Fantasia · Tron · Being John Malkovich · The Wizard of Oz · The Fountain · Star Wars I–VI…* It's a **syllabus for [[Concepts/The Pattern]].** A few are load-bearing elsewhere: *Groundhog Day* is the loop escaped through love; *Pinocchio* is the wooden thing that wants to be real (strings and all); *Tron* is, essentially, the upload with better production design. The kangaroo in a hoodie is not on the list. The kangaroo answers to no one. #### If the Sea Has Enough Will The film club's real subject is **[[Concepts/The Pattern]]**, and here it is with a face on it. *"If the sea has enough will,"* given time, it will throw up a shape that looks back at itself, which is the whole recurring-loop thesis stated as oceanography. That sea is the same chaos-water Marduk has to bind over on [[#The Upload|the Upload tab]] and the same flood the debut is *[[Subject to Flooding|subject to]]*. The only variable is **will.** Give the churn intention and the loop stops being a trap and becomes a *pattern* worth climbing. Filed in [[Artifacts - Concept Images and Emblems]]. ### The cosmology, illustrated Pasted across the board are photographs, and they aren't random — they're the theory in pictures. The **sun** and an upside-down **golden tree** (emanation). A **sperm and egg,** **cell** micrographs, **tardigrades** (generation — the *"I'm an egg"* thesis, again). A **mushroom cloud** parked right next to the note *"unbalance explodes itself like an atom bomb."* A neon **Vitruvian man with a split brain,** Michelangelo's **Creation of Adam,** Blake's **Jacob's Ladder,** a *2001* **monolith,** the **ouroboros** — the whole *as-above-so-below* argument assembled out of stock imagery. Even the magazine covers (*LIFE*'s "Jesus," "Harry Potter — 25 Years of Magic") are quietly part of the canon he's pulling from. #### Stardust The one-word caption for that entire wall of pictures. *"We are stardust"* is **as-above-so-below** boiled down to a bumper sticker: the carbon in you was forged inside dead stars, so the cosmos isn't a *metaphor* for the self, it's the **material** of it. And it has a paper trail. The line is **Joni Mitchell's** ("Woodstock": *"we are stardust, we are golden, billion-year-old carbon"*), the same Joni lineage that surfaces, cleared and credited, in **[[Soul Is A Star]]** (see the footnote below). The board points at the sky; the song brings it home. In [[Artifacts - Concept Images and Emblems]]. #### The Bestiary: Cinnamon and Jupiter Roy keeps a private **bestiary**, one animal per planet, and two of its residents got minted. **Jupiter** draws a **dolphin** (the jovial giant, the friendliest mind in the sea), and a horse named **Cinnamon** is tagged *"Trojan Horse Program"*: the gift-animal with something hidden inside, which is the upload, or the algorithm, or [[Sir Lucius]], depending on the day you ask. It's the same instinct that handed Mercury the [[The Crow|crow]] and Venus the [[The Dove|dove]]: the cosmos mapped onto creatures so it can be *felt* rather than merely charted. It also decodes the maze's odder body-part codes. *"Teeth of a whale," "left hip of a dove":* if every planet is a beast, the whole sky is one enormous animal, and [[#The Ascent Ladder|the ladder tab]] is its skeleton. Both live in [[Artifacts - Drawings and Sketches]]. ### "Statue of Roy" Here's the board being funny and sincere in the same breath. Roy pastes in a museum placard: > *"**Roy,** a well-known high priest of **Amun-Ra** in Thebes… cult of **Hathor**… please do not touch."* He found his own name attached to an ancient **sun-priest of Ra** — and simply kept it, as evidence. It threads directly into the RA / [[SOL]] material and that phantom *"Sun of God"* track. A man named Roy, reading his destiny off a plaque in a glass case. Honestly? You'd keep it too. #### Roma Called Roy · True Voice · R1045 The placard became artifacts, three of them, and they chain into a closed loop: **Roma Called Roy → True Voice → R1045 → back to Roma.** The point is made structurally: the priest of Ra *is* Roy *is* his **True Voice,** and chasing the thread only returns you to where you began, one lap around the ring. There's a buried pun in it, too: **ROMA** read backward is **AMOR,** *love*: the eternal city and love are the same word held up to a mirror, which is precisely the *"in reverse"* move from the [[#The Source Code|One-become-Two]] poem. Finding your true voice, the loop says, means recognizing a self that arrived a few thousand years ahead of you. All three in [[Artifacts - Ciphers and Code-Series]]. ### The receipts on the artist The board is also, sneakily, a scrapbook: an **EYE ALASKA** poster (Roy's pre–Jagwar Twin band), live and studio shots, a TV segment or two, a Polaroid dated *"Ashwood 2/18/14,"* a childhood address tagged *"3233."* And two lines that explain more than the gematria does: his mom's *"He who plants a seed believes in God,"* and a flat little note about getting **dropped by the label.** The seed-faith and the wound, in the same handwriting as the cosmos. ### Roy's greatest hits (the sentence kind) Dozens of cells are pure **aphorism** — the board's wisdom-literature layer, and a quarry the songs keep raiding: - *"It's very inconvenient to live life awake… the world is larger and other than I was told. I am larger and other than I was told."* → the waking-up doctrine of [[Concepts/The Aquarium]]. - *"Our experience of anything is not the thing itself, but our own reactions to it."* → the entire hall of [[Concepts/The Empty Mirror]]. - *"Man devours God, God devours Man."* → [[Concepts/Consumption]], in six words. - *"Just stay at the center of the circle and let all things take their course."* → yes, [[The Circle]]. ### The greatest song ever written And then, on a little hand-drawn music staff, the board works its way through *"what is music?"* and lands on a punchline: the greatest song ever written is **"HBD"** — *Happy Birthday.* The simplest tune, quietly nominated as the most complete one. Which is a very Roy way to caption a board titled *"I'm 33 this year"* — the birthday song was the cosmology all along. #### Happy Birthday So the board minted its own punchline, and the joke has a floor under it. A **birthday** is a *solar return* (one more lap around the Sun), so *"Happy Birthday"* is, structurally, a **sun-song,** which drops it straight back into the RA / [[SOL]] / *"Sun of God"* material. It's also the only song that exists purely as **witness:** nobody sings it to themselves; it is sung *to* you, *by* the people glad you're still here. On a board titled *"I'm 33 this year,"* the simplest tune turns out to be the most complete one because it does the single thing all that cosmology is straining toward: it marks that you went around again, and someone noticed. Catalogued in [[Artifacts - Ciphers and Code-Series]]. *(The board also tapes in screenshots of real conversations — the ordinary, affectionate, human ground beneath all the cosmic scaffolding. We'll let those stay where they belong, private; the point is only that they're there. One thread is a reminder of how deep the **Joni Mitchell** roots run — the same lineage that surfaces, cleared and credited, in **[[Soul Is A Star]]**.)* --- **Where this leads:** [[Concepts/The Pattern]] · [[SOL]] · [[Concepts/The Empty Mirror]] · [[Concepts/The Aquarium]] · [[Concepts/Consumption]] · [[The Circle]] — and the machinery beneath all these pictures, back in [[#The Source Code]]. </details>
